1880 This 1880 Vermont barn is a few miles from Lake Champlain, along the road to Mount Independence. I would characterize this Purple as "Variegated Purple". It is less vivid than the 1851 roof and also includes some buff colored slates that appear to have been part of the original roof. Note the lower right. That odd stretch of green was probably the result of a mismatched repair - perhaps after damage from a fallen tree or limb. Return To Thumbnails |
