The renovation of The 100-year-old Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, a historical centerpiece of the city of Savannah, Georgia, was a substantial challenge for everyone involved.
With hurricane season bearing down on the Atlantic Seaboard and winter closing in on the North Country Black quarry, we shipped six tractor-trailer loads of slate in 75 days -- over 300 squares of slate of which 75 squares had to be custom cut to match a pre-existing pattern. Good communication, tight scheduling and excellent material. That's no accident. |
